ACAP Cape Breton

Atlantic Coastal Action Program Cape Breton’s (ACAP CB) vision is for a clean and healthy environment, a prosperous economy and a population that is educated and empowered to make responsible choices for a sustainable future. 

This is ACAP CB’s first report into plastic waste and potential alternatives for food producers. Addressing the unnecessary reliance and toxic properties of plastic, ACAP is looking for a cleaner future where plastics are recyclable at all waste facilities and compostable in consumer’s backyards.
